Nick Morgan has been promoted to a new role with Carmarthenshire-based construction firm Morganstone.
Nick, 37, has moved up the ladder to contracts supervisor from groundwork contracts manager after just seven months with the go-ahead firm.
Before joining Morganstone, Nick ran his own construction business, which provided him with a wealth of experience in the industry.
Nick said: "I am looking forward to my new role and playing a part in making sure Morganstone is in the vanguard when it comes to delivering quality construction projects."

Saturday 27th October the Burry Port Town Band will host 'An Audience with the Band' at the St Mary's Church, Burry Port (7pm).
The keynote feature of this event will be a discussion and performance of Tom Davoren's recently commissioned First Section National Finals music, Vivat!
Tom, a rising star of the brass band world, although still in his twenties, was commissioned to write this by the National Brass Band Championships of Great Britain and also has his own strong links with Burry Port Town Band, as when he was growing up on the Gower Peninsular he joined the Burry Port Youth Band before progressing to the Senior Band on Tuba.
Now studying for his PhD at Bristol University under Professor John Pickard, Tom is delighted he can spend some time with the band and take part in this exciting new format to present the true reflection of what a modern brass band can be.
Graham Howe, the Band's Chairman added "that we're excited by this new format event, we hope it will be really fulfilling for the audience, who will have the opportunity to ask questions about the band, it's instruments, the music and its format and its great opportunity to showcase all of the instruments with some great music,. To be able to bring Tom's new work, Vivat! to our audience in Burry Port after a thrilling performance of it at the National Finals is something we're very keen to do. Tom is a fantastic musician, and really engages with the audience through his music."

Tickets are going fast for a special concert to give a boost to the Royal British Legions Poppy Appeal in South West Wales.
The Royal British Legion Charity Gala Concert will be staged at The Lyric Theatre in Carmarthen on Saturday, October 27.
It will feature Cr Godrer Aran (above), the celebrated male voice choir from North Wales, and the renowned Richard Williams Singers from Tonyrefail.
The driving force behind the concert is Cerith Owens, the director of Loud Applause Productions, a firm which devotes a lot of energy to charitable causes.
This has been a summer of notable events and great celebrations, with everything from the Queens Jubilee to the Olympics.
But October is the time when our thoughts turn towards Remembrance Day and this concert will be a moving and stirring tribute to the fallen, said Mr Owens.
The Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal is a cause very dear to all our hearts and I hope the people of Carmarthenshire lend their support to such a worthy charity.
Hopefully, the concert will also attract visitors from outside Carmarthenshire as we have a very attractive concert programme.
The venue is very central in Carmarthen and I am sure the people of Llanelli will appreciate a stirring concert during an unusual lull while the town is without a major theatre until the new Ffwrnes takes over from the old Theatr Elli.

The Blitz Charity Winter Ball is being held at the Orangery in Margam Park on December 8.
The event will be supporting the charity Welsh Air Ambulance .

Pupils at Carmarthens leading theatre arts school have been celebrating their exam successes.
The end-of-term exams at Stagecoach Carmarthen saw an amazing 98 per cent pass rate.
All the students aged six and above sat exams, with each child being marked individually on dance, singing and drama.
Its a magnificent achievement by the Stagecoach pupils and parents and teachers are all very proud of their success, said Stagecoach Carmarthen principal Liane Davies.
Its been a busy year for Stagecoach pupils as we had a magnificent success with four performances of the musical Annie at The Lyric Theatre in Carmarthen in the summer.
The performances saw three different Annies take the stage and one dog! More than 1500 people saw the performances.
Then, we also had summer workshops featuring Beauty and the Beast and The Gruffalo. So, all in all, the children had great fun while learning plenty of new skills.
The exams were all held under the supervision of the Performance Arts Awards, PAA. The exam body runs musical theatre exams for both individuals and groups.
PAA offer the only fully-integrated musical theatre exams that individually grade each student, within a group examination.
They offer Grades 1 8 (Levels 1 3) for all ages. The qualifications are fully accredited by Ofqual and are part of the new QCF .
PAA Musical Theatre grade exams are unique in their ability to develop fully rounded performance skills in acting, singing and dance, which in turn develop student confidence and communication; skills that are essential for the rest of their lives.
Meanwhile, Stagecoach Carmarthen has been recognised by The Council for Education and Training, CDET, for the third year running.
The Recognised School award allows parents to distinguish a dance or performing arts school which publicly declares that it follows sound professional practice.

Mark has worked on number of feature films and has also help fight arranging for clients such as The Glyndebourne Opera, The Broadway Theatre London and Realm Pictures.
Its a big chance to see an expert at work, said Stagecoach Carmarthen theatre arts group principal Liane Davies.
This is a fantastic opportunity to experience what it is like to perform in a fight scene without anyone getting hurt and to learn about the skills involved.
Places on the stage combat tutorial will be limited.

Clay Shaw Butler accountant Amanda Russell is running the Cardiff half marathon on Sunday.
She is joining a team of five other runners from West Wales raising money for a small country in west Africa called Burkina Faso.

A pair of West Wales businesswomen have set up an innovative lunch-time networking forum for businesses called Beyond20.
Sarah Wynne, of Chartered Accountants and Business Consultants Clay Shaw Butler, and Jo Watson, of Antur Insurance, have established a new Carmarthen-based forum for ladies to meet for business networking.The first two lunchtime meetings have been held at the Angel Vaults restaurant in Carmarthen and have been a great success, with more than 20 ladies attending the October event.
The next meeting is planned for Wednesday, November 14, at the Angel Vaults, 12.30pm.
There are quite a few business networking meetings and organisations around, but nothing quite like this, said Sarah Wynne, Relationship Accountant with Clay Shaw Butler.

An evening with Maureen Madill, the BBC golf commentator, was a hit with the ladies of the Ashburnham Golf Club in Pembrey.
The professional golf coach was the guest speaker at a special dinner to celebrate 100 years of ladies golf at 'The Ash'.
"The evening was great fun and enjoyed by all," said club captain Iris Jacob.
"More than 150 guests attended the celebration dinner at the Parc y Scarlets stadium in Llanelli.
"It was great to see so many past members of the club and so many of our current members celebrating a milestone in the history of Ashburnham Golf Club."
Guest speakerMadill was born in Coleraine, Northern Ireland. She won the British Ladies Amateur Golf Championship in 1979 and the British Ladies Amateur Stroke Play Championship in 1980. She represented Great Britain and Ireland in the Curtis Cup in 1980 and coached the team between 1998 and 2004.Madill turned professional in 1986 and played on the Ladies European Tour until 1996 where she had limited success, recording two runner-up finishes the 1989 Woolmark Matchplay Championship and the 1990 Haninge Open.
