Calling All Americymru Members In And Around New York
Just a note to remind you of two great St David's Day events in your area:-
1. The Longbow Pub, NY
Join us in celebration of St David's Day! Our menu will feature potato and leek soup, fish and chips, and Welsh cakes.
Be sure to have a wee dram of Penderyn, Wales's finest whiskey, or a bottle of Tomos Watkins bitter!

Annwyl Kari,
Welcome to Americymru! Just wondering......is it possible your Reynolds surname could be linked to one of my family, Mrs Anna Reynolds (formerly Thomas), who lived in Atlantic City up until the 1930's? Anna's father was a Congregationalist minister, the Rev.RD Thomas, from Llanrwst, and her mother was formerlySarah Roberts, of Llanfair Caereinion, Montgomeryshire.
If you intend coming to Wales at some stage, I wonder if you would like to know of a website dedicated to vacations for American visitors, www.cambrian-atlantic.com. The proprietor is my elder son!
Every good wish, Gwawr.
Shwmai! Hail and well met! Croeso y AmeriCymru, soon to be your favorite website! Hopefully :-) Check out the various interest groups, and the videos and music... wonderful stuff. And there are a lot of nice people here too. Hope you like what you find! Blessings to you this day.

Hi Kari.... Portland Oregon here. Originally from Cardiff. Croeso i Americymru. Gaabriel and I created this site less than a year ago as a Social and friendship site for the Welsh, Welsh ex-pats, persons of Welsh descent and Cymruphiles around the world. It has grown considerably since its foundation and we would like to extend a warm welcome to you....our latest member. Feel free to invite any friends that you think would be interested in joining. The network has many features which allow people with a shared love of Wales ( or rugby :) to communicate and share photos, videos, links, blogposts etc and we will be adding new features from time to time. Make yourself right at home. Once again...
