Taken last Saturday in the bookshop café at the Dylan Thomas Centre...and it turns out that my photo-shoot were the very last photographs to be taken there.
All the books have now been packed away as the council forces it to close. For shame, Swansea Council, for shame!

Sad for sure, just like just about everything else in this world of ours these days.

Oh, I don't think that Swansea Council NEED lessons on being crass, Jude!! They are quite capable of being stupid all on their own...don't forget...it was Swansea Council who also closed the Mumbles Train..the world's 1st paid passenger railway!! We still haven't forgiven them for that! They have made some momentously idiotic decisions over the years...this is just the latest in a long line

NOOOOOOOOOOOO! I took my son there when we visited the UK. Are they taking lessons from the Arizona politicians?

ah yes! Remember that so well! He had to move from there due to all the re-vamping of Wind Street. And now they've thrown him out again! Swines

Yes it's true. Unbeleivably..but we have a very vocal protest group and the fight's not over yet...however after initally giving Jeff (who's run Dylan's Book Store for donkeys years) 28 days to vacate...they then changed it to 7...so he's packed up and gone. Just been talking to Jo at the centre and they've been putting bits and bobs around to try and stop it from looking bare. They now plan to 'give' the building to Swansea University for 25 years. It's an outrage

ps-yes. that's EXACTLY where the council should go!!!!
