TV Video of our Dachshund winning her race has been taken down by YouTube

No idea why--it was done by a TV station--maybe because of the polka music copyright??? Rats!

' />

Hi,
Here is TV news footage from July 26, 2008, when our dachshund, Snuggles, won the Puppy Division of the Dachshund Races at GermanFest in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She got a blue ribbon and a bunch of doggie prizes!

It starts off with our Pipsqueak (black and tan longhaired doxie) barking at the interviewer (those are my husband Len's legs!) and shows Snuggles winning and getting her ribbon! Snuggles was the only mostly-white dog running. She is a black and tan piebald doxie. We really got a lot of coverage that day!

Attention INDIANA!!! If you are in northern Indiana, contact the 2 Fat Cyclists via Facebook and see if you can meet them. They left Chicago about 11:30 a.m. today, heading toward Ft. Wayne. I had a lovely 2 days in Chicago--went to 2 gigs with 2 Fat Cyclists and Uncle Lyndon (and Geithin) from West Wales.

If you have trouble, go to my FB page and I'll help you. They are a wonderful bunch   . They are cycling and playing gigs and looking for open mic opportunities from Chicago…

Hi Mona - Yes, I have been to the Festival when it was in Orlando but, unfortunately, wasn't around at the others as we are in and out of Wales! We are planning to go to the next one though as I believe it is in Scranton, Pennsylvania which is the birthplace of one of our dearest members of Sarasota Welsh Society. You probably know him, it's Don Hughes and I think he has recently become a Board Member or maybe a committee member. Meryl xx

Hi Mona. I am a freelance professional photographer and copy writer. I just can't accept that anyone asks for copyright on my material unless they have paid for that. Even then, I would ensure that it could not be changed in any way. I am surprised the editor gets any submissions. I would be happy to submit a lot of my articles if he changes policy. It is not for me to as. Thanks for the reply. Alan

Hi Mona I wouldn't have a problem submitting the article other than the editor is asking for any articles submitted to relinquish copyright to the magazine. I have never heard of this before and i certainly would never relinquish copyright. Unless the editor has a change of policy, I am afraid i will not be submitting any material here. I hope you understand. Best Wishes, Alan Evans
