It is almost time to start packing those bags for the summer 'hols' (for US folk, that's UK-speak for VACATION.
Well, there may be a new option for many this year - it goes under the name of 'STAYCATION - driven (in part) by the economic hardships that many people are suffering. They feel they cannot afford to trek to some foreign land, so they decide to STAY at home.
My recommendations are these:
1. If you live in Wales -…

Here's an interesting article: The UK's top 10 Dream Jobs.
My ambitions, and my career took a totally different track. I think I can honestly say I never aspired to be any one of those.
I also never considered being a marathon runner - or half of one - or even a runner of a half a marathon . . . or a would-be 95-day blogger. Nope! Nothing so…

Keith Lucas said… SJ, the Hari story is likely to be of massive interest to people back here and as such as the wherewithal to raise funds for the family. This may have been anticipated but the family need to ensure that the news gets back to the UK via press releases, pictures, thoughts etc. This may also be the last thing the family will be thinking about, but it is possible this will raise much needed funds. The BBC 'One' programme has a Welsh presenter and she may be very interested in not just the story but the way your society and the AmeriCymru are helping out with these acts of kindness.
