About Me:
Born Liverpool, grew up in Wrexham and the Isle of Man, but mostly in Ipswich, Suffolk. Geologist, have lived in Zambia, Australia, Japan, Chile, and worked in India and Korea for extended periods. Now consultant in frontier exploration for oil and gas. In the States have lived in New York, Philadelphia, the Great Smokies (my Hippy period), DC suburbs, Houston, and now Austin, TX.

Hobbies are Archaeology (my wife is one, an Archaeologist, that is, not a ruin, bless her), choral singing, riding a bicycle across continents, walk/running marathons and triathlons, etc.
