I'll be attending the Left Coast Eisteddfod in Portland and thought it would be nice to meet other attendees and interested parties online before the event.
Gaabi has established a group, Oregon Welsh Heritage Society, within AmeriCymru to facilitate this and to streamline communications regarding Eisteddfod plans. We may also plan a few social events (pub nights, etc) prior to the event. If you want to get involved with planning the event, volunteer or just stay in touch and keep informed join here:-

- Yes. I was brought up on Anglesey and I've just come back from there. I made it a bit of a working holiday and plan to do a painting on the Menai straits looking across to the mountains and also of the small 'beach' tucked down below St. Mary's church in Llanfair P.G.. Wish I could have spent longer on the island and done some more studies. I so miss the beaches. The Pacific is wild and beautiful but so cold!
