Nothing can surpass the experience of standing on the terraces at Cardiff Arms Park or Millenium Stadium at an international rugby match - watching the team from Wales. No, not the rugby team; I…Read more →

This is where YOU, can feature the National Team where YOU live. To get the ball rolling (honest - no pun intended), I have spotlighted (in honor of AC member Claudio), the…Read more →

Comment by Gaynor Madoc Leonard on March 17, 2012 at 11:03am SPOILERS!!! Dare I say anything? Let's just say that Merv will be smiling.
Comment by Gaynor Madoc Leonard on March 17, 2012 at 8:25am There's an article by Delme Parfitt in yesterday's South Wales Echo (New Roof Won't Put a Dampener on Wales Grand Slam Mission). No one knows if the GPS thing is just a theory or if Les Bleus are just being naughty and trying to wind us up (perish the thought!). They've just shown some film of Merv on BBC.
Comment by Swansea Jack on March 17, 2012 at 6:17am Heard nothing about GPS - here's all I have seen: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-wales-17407611
I wonder if the French players have machine-readable GPS microchips implanted in their skulls? The mind boggles...
Comment by Gaynor Madoc Leonard on March 17, 2012 at 3:53am Sheer joy to see those films. I hope Merv has a lovely rugby pitch where he is, bless him.
I expect you've read about the French refusing to have the roof closed whatever the weather because of their players GPS! What would the 70s players have said about that?!
Comment by Swansea Jack on March 16, 2012 at 10:04pm The 70's - probably the best decade of Welsh Rugby:

Comment by Swansea Jack on February 27, 2012 at 8:49am Yes - but didn't watch it all. Actually, there were several dropped goals last year (or maybe year before?) - I think a Welsh blunder (a needless - and useless - relieving kick in dying seconds - ball in hand would have done) set up O'Gara for a DG for O'Gara to win !
There was a successful one in yesterday's match - Scotland v France, and a couple of unsuccesful attempts on Staurday.
Comment by Gaynor Madoc Leonard on February 27, 2012 at 8:41am I assume you've got the 14 minute one. I think Gareth's drop goal is a thing of beauty. Too few drop goals in the modern game. Got all nostalgic and watched John Taylor taking "that" conversion against Scotland. Also been watching Jean-Pierre Rives (I had a crush on him back in the day) and remember little Jacques Fouroux?
