Hi, Ryan

There is a Welsh Church downtown:
http://www.lawelshchurch.com/

There was also a Welsh Choir in San Marino, but their website doesn't appear to be working anymore. Try this address and e-mail:

Welsh Choir of Southern California
Attn: President
2600 Mission Street, Suite 206
San Marino, CA 91108-1676
corcymraeg@aol.com

Or this location and phone number:
Saint Edmund's Episcopal Church
1175 South San Gabriel Blvd..
San Marino, California
* Contact Welsh Choir at 562.209.8184

(Let me know if you manage to get in contact with them).

Good luck!

Hey everyone -

I'm doing some research into Welsh culture for a production of Under Milk Wood. I'd really like to find any Welsh people living in L.A., or any knowledgeable people who would be willing to start a dialogue. I'm also looking for a pub, a church, anything in LA that might be helpful.

If anyone's interested in talking, I'm interested in listening :)
Shoot me a message here, or at my email: rwags@cox.net
Thanks!!
Ryan

Found a site with Welsh folk songs (in midi files) and lyrics:
http://www.ligtel.com/~wales/Welshmusic.html

I'm going to try listening to some and getting used to the pronunciations of the words! :-)

Hey! I just found this group!

I'm in the Pasadena area, and I WANT TO LEARN WELSH! ;-)

Are there any active Welsh Language study groups around? I found one in Arizona that is doing an online class. I might try to see if I can fit that one into my insane schedule as well.
