Permalink Reply by Swansea Jack on January 27, 2012 at 1:56pm Can't question your optimism!
Wales plays in Ireland in 9 days time, followed a week later with a match against Scotland in Cardiff. Then a lay-off of 13 days before we get see if your optimism here is well placed - or is as dopey as Warburton's tackle in New Zealand.
Permalink Reply by Swansea Jack on February 15, 2012 at 5:27pm We have two matches under our belts. This is the BIG one !
Only WALES and ENGLAND have a chance to claim the coveted TRIPLE CROWN. If WALES wins, we will be Triple Crown Winner. If ENGLAND wins, we'll have to rely on IRELAND beating them for us to win it.
It will be tough as it is in Twickenham, not Cardiff. However, WALES has performed far better than ENGLAND has in each of their two matches so far.
WALES played (and beat) IRELAND and SCOTLAND, while ENGLAND played (and beat) SCOTLAND and ITALY.
The match WILL be aired on BBC America on February 25th at 11:00 EST - do miss it - and DO NOT fail to register your prediction here.
Ceri has already taken the plunge !

Is there a punter in the house ? No - not a ball kicker, nor a boater!
I'm looking for a gambler - somebody who can explain the odds shown by Paddy Power. Take the Ireland v Italy match as an example:
http://www.paddypower.com/bet/rugby-union
I'm OK on the middle column (Draw) - I know it means 'the odds against it ending tied are 33 to 1'.
I also know, under 'Home', it means, 'the odds in favor of France winning are 14 to 1'.
BUT - how then, in the 'Away' column, can there NOT be (a reciprocal) 14:1 against Italy winning ? There's a 2 times difference in those odds variances!
Notwithstanding the (approximate) 2:1 versus 1:3 disparity, he gives France the nod against Scotland.
His pick in the match England v Wales match at Twickenham is very close - no matter which set of odds you take. There are only 9 days left for YOU to make your predictions.
Permalink Reply by Swansea Jack on February 17, 2012 at 11:02am Who will be next to predict? Ceri made his pick almost a month ago. We had 14 predictions for the match against Scotland - surely this one, against ENGLAND, will draw even more interest - and predictions. Match time is 11:00 EST on February 25th. Predictions must be submitted 12 hours before KO.
